They made great blank tapes and they make great blank CD's. Now, I am sure that Maxell is owned by somebody else at this point but this product stands the test of time. Get them while you can. If you record music at all and use anything else shame on you. I can save you the trouble as I have tried ALL other brands and none even come close. Except no substitute. If they only still made the 50 pack.
I even remember Maxell being the "state of the art" cassette back when I was in high school. I end up throwing so many of them away. work about 30% of the time. For years, Maxell has made amazing audio products. I have a stereo burner, and the Maxell Audio CDR's are by far the very best. Memorex, Sony, etc. Wish the Maxell's were not so hard to find.
Never seem to get many errors w Maxell and they are printable with the Casio Disc Title Printers.
The Maxell CD-R Music CDs work perfectly in my Sony CD recorder - which I use to record LP Records on to CDs. These are the most reliable CDs for the Sony Recorder.
Great discs to use. Stores like Walmart & Kmart are not carrying these anymore so Amazon is the way to go. Fast shipment from AMAZON. I wouldrecommend these to anyone looking for CD-R's that canbe on CD Audio recorder and on computers.
